The ancient cellars of the building offer the restaurant a warm and welcoming atmosphere under powerful vaults and thick exposed brick walls. Large arches in ancient bricks divide the large space that occupies an entire side of the building, where exposed brick walls alternate with plastered ones and coffere between past centuries and modern design: an ancient well, fine terracotta, antique woods, medieval atmospheres with old wooden beams, large wrough iron chandeliers, sparkling lights on the cabinets’ glass, fine linen fabrics and valuable velvets that lend a touch of modernity to the intimate and charming surroundings, with golden reflections.
The furniture is elegant and essential: an antique sideboard, leather armchairs and custom-made lamps, tables of various shapes and sizes, even modular.
Enjoying a romantic dinner in a reserved corner between the glass cases that house the crystal glasses. Meeting for family meals to remember special occasions. Organizing dinners for companies, groups or associations. These are all occasions made unforgettable by the cozy atmosphere under the old vaults of the restaurant, by the taste of the dishes of the chef Diego Solazzo, by an elegant and at the same time simple service.
At lunch a particular menu formula, 2 or 3 dishes that can be chosen from the general menu, is available for business lunches that can combine the elegance of the environment and the quality of service with the needs of a short break for a light lunch.
A private room allows maximum privacy for meetings up to 8 people, while for social occasions up to 120 seats (weddings or corporate events) it is possible to request exclusive use of the restaurant.
The dishes offered in the restaurant are characterized by a strong link with the territory and a great attention to the raw material, which is chosen on the basis of a direct relationship with the producers
The wide offer of the restaurant menu ranges from local dishes in a revisited key (in particular with a “territory menu” designed especially for foreign guests) to numerous dishes based on fresh fish, which comes directly from the fishermen of the nearby Liguria and from Mazara del Vallo. Fish lovers, and in particular local customers, have a specific “fish menu” available, while a “tasting menu” with 8 dishes wants to express the chef’s hand in the most complete way.
In the menu there are also some “dishes of the origins”, historical dishes of the Piedmontese tradition brought to Palazzo Righini by Flavio Ghigo, as the “Finanziera Reale” and above all the famous “Risotto Mantecato al Fondo Bruno”.
