Historic Palazzo Righini features 24 unique rooms. Each one holds a treasure waiting to be discovered, frescoed vaults and walls, authentic decorated coffered ceilings, crystal chandeliers and gilded lanterns, silk taffeta drapes, fine velvet, four-poster canopied beds, marble and Italian walnut floors. The master suite is a marvel and the bathroom is like a living room. Each piece is one of a kind, hand-decorated and restored with skilled craftsmanship, each room a delightful surprise.
Whetting the taste for beauty and authenticity is an art that is at home here.
Guests are offered an experience that stimulates the five senses and takes them back in time through the specialties of the chef, to be enjoyed in prized rooms, the treasures contained in the wine vaults, the fragrant seductions of the Wellness Center, the soft silks, the comforts of the rooms created out of the first floor of the antique palazzo.
The Doubles Rooms of Palazzo Righini have an antique flavor, a discreet soul and the warm tones of the pleasure of giving hospitality. Each room hides small treasures: a period wardrobe, a vaulted ceiling, a fresco, a message sculpted in the carvings of the woodwork, a sparkle of silver, a wood floor from bygone days, marble and clear crystals , a particularly wonderful view of the rooftops of the historic center, very absolutely romantic surroundings, soft walls and excellent technology, to be inspired by.
“Wake up, breakfast in the room, international magazines and newspapers. TV on the French channel. The first speech is mine. Roundtable at 11.30. At 1 p.m. we close, so I enjoy the unique atmosphere of the St. Augustine Convention Center, a gem. I plan the day. Retrieving notes. Where's the i-phone? In that comfortable corner where last night I wrote one of my best lines for today's talk. It's not there. in this room everything is perfectly balanced and in order. The bare beams seem like the Euribor chart. And the i-phone isn't here. I find traces of antique burnished metals that remind me of the sunglasses in Valentina's red hair, brown emperador marble ... you don't see many bathrooms like this. There it is! it's in the lighted niche on the headboard of the bed, perfectly camouflaged in the contemporary style of this corner. Around are other styles, other epochs. Everything coexists in harmony, but nothing is simplified, trivialized ... the complexity of each epoch is irreducible: beauty wedded with innovation and history.”

Every Double Executive room at Palazzo Righini is unique, refined and elegant and will make you enjoy the beauty inherited from history and the creative inspiration with which every single detail has been designed and crafted. Some of the rooms have mainly a contemporary style, while maintaining the taste of the antique. in others there is an enigmatic balance between past and present. The atmosphere can be very romantic, with light and material in perfect harmony. Scents, colors and fabrics stimulate all the senses. It is from one of these rooms that you catch sight of one of the most beautiful views of the palace.
“Well into the night, the applause still keeps me company. Acting is exciting every time. When the curtain closes I become myself again, you know, the one that loves to get lost in the lanes of a small unknown village and loves the things of history, who grasps a steaming cup in his hands, until the morning light takes away the magic of the theater and make way for new projects.
But tonight in this room, you cannot imagine! Antique walls, the scent of wood and leather, A large delicate fresco reflected in a mirror of a nobleman's house invited me to enter. Ancient walls, the aroma of wood and leather, bright shimmers of metal and soft velvets. The same style as the scene. There was something, something that urged me to dress like an actress, again. The perfect balance of fine drapes playing with the classic idea of the canopy bed, like I play with words and the tones of the script.
Away with the heels and lacquered shoes, on these valuable wooden floorboards it is almost a childlike pleasure to be barefoot. A fairytale landscape kidnapped me looking to the west, a simple starry sky under which extend steeples, red roofs and hills with the scent of wine. I was a lady, for one whole night. With this thought I fall asleep.

The Junior Suites of Palazzo Righini are bright and spacious, unique vintage rooms with original 17th c. decorations. The restoration work has brought to light some of the hand-decorated ceilings and their delicate shades and colors. Materials and colors that have been there for centuries to enthrall barons and countesses and overhear the family legends. The rooms have a classic and contemporary style, accentuated by the choices of furnishings: a hint of a four-poster bed, soft niches, details in burnished brass, precious velvets and splendid fabrics. The bathrooms are little gems of fine marble and wood grain. The elegant taste of furniture from yesterday combined with the comfort of a Junior Suite.
"We've always traveled a lot. This is the first time we've come to Piedmont, the land that my wife's ancestors left from. Two days in an antique aristocratic home in the middle of a food and wine tour of the best tables of Europe. It's the first long trip we've made since she was born. Our daughter is still in ‘why' stage. In that wonderful room, she was at her best, refusing to get out of the big canopy bed nestled in soft fabric, wanting to know if the Baron Righini really lives here. It's the fault of this room, which blends authentic relics of a distant past with legendary reenactments of noble Piedmontese families. She was attracted to the antique mirrors, the velvet chair became a wood and refuge for her doll of lace, the warm grain of the wood floor became a route to follow for her fingers, turned into who knows what kind of adventure companion. The fine curtains were for a perfect retreat for hiding. When she discovered the bathroom in mid morning, my wife and I lost any hope of taking a walk before lunch. She was enraptured by the elegance of those rooms, as were we.”

The Palazzo Righini Suite has a style of its own. The elegance, history, brightness, and beauty of every room of this antique palazzo and something more. Everything is original, sophisticated and seductive. A, beautifully decorated antique coffered ceiling, a valuable antique fireplace, original flooring with hand-carved tiles in walnut and cherry, a canopy bed, like the one of nobles of the past. It is a marvelous and elegant room, with soft velvets, comfortable armchairs and a dining table all to itself. The bathrooms are precious little treasure chests, with a delicate balance of Italian marbles, warm wood grain and touches of color to decorate the ceilings. The Suite is a dream place to be pampered by history.
“My wife is a soprano. She loves surroundings that are elegant and filled with history. She grew up with her passion, learning to love churches, the scene of her performances. We got married last spring, with a simple ceremony. No honeymoon, the summer was a tight agenda full of commitments for both. We both longed for these days of vacation for some time, savoring the scent of the Piedmont hills in autumn. Mature loves look for corners of silence to regenerate themselves.
A small, medieval historic center just waiting to be discovered, at once tranquil and lively. The view enjoyed from the marvelous room where we stayed was charming. I learned to read the signs of time and savor the beauty alongside my lady. She was fascinated by that antique coffered ceiling, so beautifully decorated. It nourished distant memories, scenes inhabited in who knows which tournée. She seemed to run with the memory at every step, on that carefully inlaid wooden floor. I learned with her. Oh how many plans we made in that velvet sitting room, relaxing in front of the fireplace. Soft sheets ,fine fabrics, fresh flowers and the pleasure of dining in the midst of antique walls, pampered by history”.
