It offers pleasant rooms, modern technology and personal service managed by a staff of young people with international experience, in a context of quality that can satisfy the most demanding guests, even fans of gastronomy.
The property is located in the old center of Fossano, in a strategic, central position in the area of Cuneo, on the road that goes from Turin to Savona and Nice.
The overall availability is 2 rooms (accessible to the disabled) linked by videoconference and with every comfort thanks to home automation, furnished with moveable armchairs and chairs, cutting-edge video projection and amplification systems equipped with broadband and Wi-Fi technology .
If you are planning a special event or an important meeting, why settle for ordinary places?
The most prestigious and largest Hall of the St. Augustine Convention Center was created out of the seventeenth-century church known as the “Battuti Neri”, adjacent to Palazzo Righini.
This old church, once part of the Monastery of the Augustinians, is ideal for business meetings and conferences, professional training courses and seminars, as well as cultural events, music evenings and exhibitions.
In 1618 the Augustinian Fathers founded a monastery here, of which is preserved the Church, practically intact. They stayed until the Napoleonic Era when, in 1801, they had to leave because of the Law on the Suppression of Monasteries. In 1856 the 17th c. church became the seat of the Confraternity of Mercy, also called of the Beheading of St. John in Rome or “Battuti Neri”. In 1904 it became a municipal warehouse. The recent renovations have restored it to its former splendor.
The restoration returns to the community a prestigious artifact of history and art, which in 1904 was left in a state of decay and neglect and used as a municipal warehouse.
The Church has very old origins. In 1618 the Augustinian Fathers founded a monastery here, of which only the church, practically intact, is preserved.
Recent renovations, financed and personally supervised by the owner of Palazzo Righini, restored it to its former splendor and have made it a comfortable environment, with underfloor heating, and equipped with home automation technology, suitable for all types of meetings.
Thanks to the wisdom of the original builders and the geometry of the building, the good acoustics also make this room suitable for concerts and theatrical performances.
The Augustinian Fathers, who built the church and the monastery, had already left them in1801, at the time of the Law on the Suppression of Monasteries during the Napoleonic Era. In 1856 the church became the seat of the Confraternity of Mercy, also called of the Beheading of St. John in Rome or “Battuti Neri”.

Imagine being in the early 17th century in the antique Terziere di Romanisio, the southern part of Fossano, a village founded in 1236 by a league of Guelph cities that got together to battle the city of Asti, on a terrace on the left bank of the Stura river, in a strategic location for trade between Piedmont and Liguria.
The village is surrounded by mighty walls and by the mid-1500s has about 10,000 inhabitants and is the Diocese where the Bishop resides.
In this splendid theater of Palazzi, mighty fortresses and numerous religious buildings came the Augustinian Fathers of Lombardy, who settled here in 1618 (as reported by local historians G. Muratori in volumes of the seventeenth century and Paserio).
